By identifying and exploiting the abundant renewable energy in your geographic area (solar, wind, etc.) TIG/m engineers can design and implement a transportation system that does not rely on the traditional municipal power utility.
By harvesting renewable energy and installing a project-specific hydrogen generation and fleet-fueling facility we can generate green hydrogen on-site and accomplish all of our battery charging without producing any GHG (Green House Gasses) in the complete energy cycle from the harvesting of energy to the work at the wheel.
This produces a carbon-neutral transportation system with zero-emissions at the vehicle. All of this can be accomplished for a fraction of the cost of 1 mile of overhead wire.
All of our vehicles operate by means of a battery-dominant propulsion system which means that a majority of the energy for a day of passenger operation is carried on-board in the form of battery storage. However, up to 40% of the days budget may come from regenerative braking and/or an on-board generator set, both of which add their energy compliment into the battery systems during operations.
If hydrogen is not your choice, we can provide on-board biomethane power generation. Biomethane is produced by the digestion of biomass and its use removes methane (a very potent GHG) from the atmosphere.
If biomethane is not available, we can provide on-board power generation by means of LPG or CNG as well.
